Be sure to check out our Haunt web site at http://haunt.canadaswonderland.com/ lots of scary stuff to see. Our whole team has been out in the park getting ready for the Haunt and we have had some fun helping to build some of the mazes as well as adding new food items to the park. Back by popular demand is our corn cart at the front gate , with fresh roasted corn and corn chowder as well as the staple cotton candy and beverages. Right behind this area we have added a new BBQ place that will feature smoked turkey drumsticks if you have ever been to some of our parks in the states you would see these huge items being chewed on by all sorts of people. I hope you like them and enjoy them as much as we have so far. Make sure they are hot when you get them so they keep you warm on our cold nights.
Also back this year are the carts in Kingswood where you can get fresh pizza slices and pretzles, we also added a new stuffed pretzle that is spicy and cheezy! The mazes in this area were always busy last year so be sure to grab some food to munch on while you wait in line. The 3 new mazes this year look very scary, Kingdom of Carnage has lots of goar and the sweet story of Mother Goose has been changed a little to become Mother Noose, not very kid friendly. The other new maze called Red Beards Revenge is a great set with a lot of fun and scary additions along the way, not sure wqhat it will be like, but I will fill you in after I go through the dress rehearsal tomorrow.
As the season winds down to our last month of operations we now begin the task of preparing for next year, budgets, menu tasting and general cleanup and setup. I look forward to any feed back from my readers and pass on the comments to my email or comment on line. Let me know what you want to see in the park and what you have enjoyed this year and in the past. We always want to improve, but can only do that with feed back from our guests.
